Why: One of the focuses of the new Learning Communities Resource Center at the Community Action Partnership is to help connect evidence-based and evidence-informed practices and service approaches to the Community Action Network. The Self-Sufficiency Research Clearinghouse (SSRC) is a web-based library of research and resources on low-income individuals. During this webinar, you will learn how to find research related to your programs, access materials to improve your ability to understand and use research, find events to attend to learn more about emerging issues and research in the self-sufficiency field, and more! The webinar will begin with an overview of the history, purpose, and goals of the SSRC, which is funded by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation, followed by a virtual tour of the Web site.
